PROJECT / HOMELAB

My personal
playground.

A self-hosted environment where I experiment with infrastructure, networking, virtualization, security and different technologies.

Proxmox Linux Docker Tailscale Caddy

Built to learn by doing.

My homelab is where I test ideas that I don't necessarily want to experiment with in production. It gives me a place to build, break and rebuild infrastructure while learning how different systems interact.

It has grown from a few simple services into a collection of virtual machines, containers, networking infrastructure and self-hosted applications.

VIRTUALIZATION Proxmox
CONTAINERS Docker
NETWORK Tailscale
REVERSE PROXY Caddy

How my homelab fits together.

My infrastructure is spread across multiple locations and connected through Tailscale, with Caddy handling external access to selected services.

HOMELAB

A smaller home-based environment connected to the rest of the infrastructure through Tailscale, running additional services and experiments.

More than just servers.

The main purpose of the homelab is learning. It gives me an environment where I can experiment with new technologies and understand how systems behave when things don't go according to plan.

Breaking something is often the fastest way to understand how it works.
